OAKLAND CITY, Ind. -- No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan University men’s soccer started the 2016 campaign with a 2-1 road victory at Oakland City (Ind.). Eddie Hernandez (SO/Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Mike Marquez (SR/Wheaton, Ill.) each scored first half goals for the Wildcats as they won their season-opening match for the seventh consecutive year.

 

MARION, Ind. -- Remy Bucknor (SR/Euless, Texas) was selected as the first Crossroads League Volleyball Attacker of the Week for the 2016 season.

 

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- It was a successful opening weekend for the Wildcats as the Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team cruised past Trinity Christian (Ill.) in a three set sweep at the Bethel Invitational. IWU won their opening two matches of the 2016-17 season on Saturday as they defeated Peru State (Neb.) earlier in the day.

 

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball played the very first contest of any Wildcat team in 2016-17. IWU grabbed a 3-1 victory over Peru State (Neb.) at the Bethel Invitational in the first of two matches on Saturday.
