The Mid-Central College Conference Softball Tournament is being held on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University on April 28-29.
Following heavy rains all week, including Thursday, No. 2-seed Marian (Ind.) College defeated top-seed Bethel (Ind.) College 14-6 in five innings in the MCC Tournament championship game. The tournament was shortened due to rains.
Marian will now travel to Mishawaka, Indiana to play a best-of-three series with Bethel to determine the automatic bid from the MCC to the NAIA National Championships.
The winner of the best-of-three series will earn the MCC automatic berth to the NAIA National Championships.
