SILVIS, Illinois (Results) -- Indiana Wesleyan University golf completed an impressive showing with a third place finish at the highly competitive NAIA Preview Invitational at the TPC @ Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.

The tournament is held at the 6,625 yard, par-71 course which will host the 2010 NAIA National Championship during the spring season.

Indiana Wesleyan shot a two round total of 601 (301-300) and finished behind a pair of top-five NAIA programs. Oklahoma City (Okla.) University won the event with a 594 (300-294) and Texas Wesleyan University ended runner-up with 599 (292-307).

Highlighting the invitational for the Wildcats was the play of senior Austin Conroy. He shot one under par during the two day tournament for a score of 141 (71-70) to earn medalist honors.

Fellow senior Joe Madda completed the invitational tied for fifth place with a score of 146 (71-75). A pair of sophomore rounded out the Indiana Wesleyan scoring on Friday. Matt Milholland tied for 29th place with a two round tally of 154 (77-77) and Trey Rohrman earned a 160 (82-78) to finish in 61st.

Junior Kyle Martin shot a two round total of 162 (83-79) to place 70th.

Indiana Wesleyan wraps up the fall season with the strong showing at the NAIA Preview Invitational and will next play during the spring.
