KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Indiana Wesleyan University advanced to the NCCAA Men's Soccer National Championship Semifinals on Wednesday afternoon following a 2-0 victory over No. 2-seed Greenville (Ill.) College in Kissimmee, Florida.

The No. 7-seeded Wildcats will now play a semifinal match on Thursday against the winner of No. 3-seed Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) University and No. 6-seed Covenant (Ga.) College.

IWU junior midfielder Austin Bock scored what would be the game-winning goal during the first half of action. He headed home a crossing pass from sophomore forward Erik Johnson.

The Wildcats tacked on an insurance goal in the second half off a corner kick set. Sophomore forward Zach Grantham took the kick where junior defender Kyle Meier headed home his first goal of the season for a 2-0 IWU lead.

IWU senior goalkeeper Spenser Lang collected four saves in net for his sixth shutout of the season and the eight combined shutout for the Wildcats. Each team collected eight shots in the match while IWU put seven on goal to the four for Greenville.

Indiana Wesleyan evens their record at 10-10-1 and has won five of their last six matches. Three of the last four have been shutouts. Greenville drops to 15-6-2.

The Wildcats will play in the national semifinal at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 3.
