MARION, Ind. -- Emily Sell will join the Indiana Wesleyan University softball team for the 2010-11 season.

She is currently a senior at Clinton High School and will play third base and shortstop for the Wildcats. Sell also plays basketball and volleyball for Clinton and is the captain for all three teams.

"There were just a lot of things about her that were out­standing, just the way that she carried her body. She came out on the field and played several positions very strong and the players just loved her," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Sue Bowman. "Just the attitude that she has and her sports abil­ity, she's going to fit in well."

Sell has been honored as All-Conference, All-District and All-Region during her high school career and she has also earned sportsmanship awards.

Indiana Wesleyan will open the 2010 season on February 19 at Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University
