MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University dropped three spots to No. 9 in the latest edition of the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top-25 Poll, released Monday evening.
The Wildcats remain the first Mid-Central College Conference program in the rankings and are currently tied with No. 11-ranked University of Saint Francis (Ind.) atop the conference standings with 10-2 records. The two team play at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10 in Luckey Arena.
Indiana Wesleyan split a pair of games last week. IWU defeated No. 18-ranked Huntington (Ind.) University but lost on the road at Spring Arbor (Mich.) University.
The top three teams in the rankings remained unchanged. Hastings (Neb.) College was awarded all 16 first place votes for the top spot with 436 points. Davenport (Mich.) University is second with 420 points and Cedarville (Ohio) University is third at 405 points.
The Wildcats are 21-5 this season and tallied 333 points.
Indiana Wesleyan will host ‘White Out' night for the Wednesday night contest with Saint Francis. Wear white to support the Wildcats in the battle for first place in the MCC.
