MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University has been ranked No. 24 in the NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top-25 Preseason Poll released Tuesday evening.

The Wildcats enter the poll after finishing last season in the Receiving Votes section. IWU finished the fall season 9-1 and a perfect 7-0 record in the Mid-Central College Conference. The Wildcats also won the MCC Tournament championship.

Indiana Wesleyan earned 83 points in the poll is the only MCC program in the top-25.

Defending national champion Fresno Pacific (Calif.) University is the No. 1 team with 10-of-13 first place votes for 341 points. Auburn (Ala.) University-Montgomery received the other three first place votes and is second with 333 points.

Indiana Wesleyan opens the spring season on March 20 as IWU hosts No. 25-ranked Aquinas (Mich.) College at the Sutter Tennis Center.
