MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University women's basketball will hold a ‘Pink Out' night on Wednesday, February 17 against Grace (Ind.) College to help raise awareness for breast cancer.
All gate money and donations made will be given to the Cancer Services of Grant County. A special collection will be taken at halftime and 100-percent of all money raised will remain in Grant County.
Popcorn at the game will be sold for $1.50 with the proceeds to be given to the Cancer Services of Grant County. Every purchase of popcorn will also gain a ticket which will be placed in the drawing for a chance to win an iPod Touch at halftime.
Help the Wildcats raise breast cancer awareness on the court, across campus and in the community by supporting this important effort. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to honor breast cancer survivors and their families.
Indiana Wesleyan is hosting ‘Pink Out' night in conjunction with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and their Pink Zone initiative. Over 1,550 schools and organization are committed to the WBCA Pink Zone Week on February 12-21.
Tip-off for ‘Pink Out' night is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
