MARION, Ind. -- The NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top-25 Poll has Indiana Wesleyan University ranked No. 5 for the third consecutive week. The final poll of the season will be released next week.

Indiana Wesleyan was one of many top-10 programs to lose a game last week as IWU dropped an 80-76 overtime decision on the road to then No. 7-ranked University of Saint Francis (Ind.) on Tuesday. Indiana Wesleyan rebounded with an 80-75 overtime win over Marian (Ind.) University on Saturday for a 1-1 week.

The Wildcats earned 371 points in the poll on the strength of a 23-5 record. IWU has two games left in the regular season and are currently in first place in the Mid-Central College Conference, leading No. 10-ranked Saint Francis and No. 12-ranked Bethel (Ind.) College by one game.

The fourth MCC program in the rankings is Spring Arbor (Mich.) University at No. 19.

Walsh (Ohio) University captured 15-of-16 first place votes for the No. 1-ranking with 436 points. Oregon Tech earned the final first place vote and has 416 points for second place. Indiana University-Southeast and Oklahoma Wesleyan University are third and fourth, respectively.

Indiana Wesleyan finishes the regular season this week with a pair of road conference games. IWU plays at Grace (Ind.) College on Tuesday, February 16 and at Taylor (Ind.) University on Saturday, February 20.
