DAYTON, Tenn. -- Indiana Wesleyan University baseball wrapped up the eight-team Bryan Tournament with a third place finish this past weekend.
University of Rio Grande (Ohio) won the tournament with a 4-0 record and Taylor (Ind.) University finished second with a 3-1 mark.
Indiana Wesleyan tied three other teams with 2-2 records but earned third place with the ‘runs allowed' tie-breaker. IWU allowed 20 runs while Bryan (Tenn.) College surrendered 24 runs, Tennessee Temple University 26 runs and Asbury (Ky.) College 28 runs.
Emmanuel (Ga.) College and Toccoa Falls (Ga.) College complete the tournament standings with a 1-3 record.
An All-Tournament Team will be released later this week.
Indiana Wesleyan will return to the diamond this upcoming weekend when the Wildcats open their annual Spring Break Trip in Florida.
