BAPSON PARK, Fla. -- Weber International (Fla.) University scored a two out run in the bottom of the 12th to ruin the Indiana Wesleyan University baseball comeback for a 3-2 victory in Bapson Park, Florida.

Indiana Wesleyan fell behind early when Weber International scored two runs in the third inning. But IWU scored single runs in the seventh and ninth innings to force extra innings.

Weber International led off the home half of the 12th inning with a double. He was sacrificed to third base then IWU shortstop Jonathan Bastian made a tremendous play to get the second out while keeping the WIU runner at third. But an infield single plated the winning run to complete the game.

Freshman Quinn Nofziger continues to tear up the diamond with his play at the collegiate level. Nofziger pitched 5-2/3 innings of one run ball with four strikeouts. At the plate, he went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases.

Senior Ben Zachary was 1-for-2, sophomore Seth White had a sac fly and senior TJ Fletcher stole two bases. Sophomore Alex Ridlen pinch hit in the ninth inning and chased home the tying run with a RBI groundout.

Indiana Wesleyan is now 2-5 this season with three of the losses being in one run games. IWU will continue their Florida Spring Break trip on Thursday with games against Thomas (Ga.) University and Bellevue (Neb.) College.
