MARION, Ind. -- Janelle Sproul has recently signed to play women's soccer at Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall of 2010.
Sproul, a midfielder from Warsaw Community High School in Warsaw, Indiana, was voted MVP of her team, and served as captain in 2009 and was selected as an Indiana Soccer Coaches Association Top Team Player. Sproul also plays for NIFA U-18 Club team.
A member of the National Honor Society, Sproul is the daughter of Indiana Wesleyan goalkeeper coach Mark Sproul and his wife, Karen.
Indiana Wesleyan head coach Dr. John Bratcher said, "Janelle Sproul is a great addition to our squad as she understands the game very well. She will challenge her teammates in practice daily and give the Wildcats the depth needed to compete against three of the top five teams in the NAIA next fall."
