MOBILE, Ala. -- Indiana Wesleyan University will be well represented at the NCCAA Men's and Women's Tennis Championships which are set to open play on Tuesday morning.
Both teams qualified for the national championship which will be contested at the Mobile Copeland-Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.
The women will compete in the seven-team national championship and are in the three-team Pool B with Dallas Baptist (Texas) University and King (Tenn.) College. IWU will have the bye in the opening time slot on Tuesday and will play King at 3 p.m. On Wednesday, Indiana Wesleyan will finish pool play against Dallas Baptist at 9 a.m.
The top two teams from each pool will advance to the semifinals at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The championship match is scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m.
On the men's side, Indiana Wesleyan is in the eight-team national championship and will battle Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) University, North Greenville (S.C.) University and Covenant (Ga.) College in Pool B.
IWU will open the tournament at 12 p.m. on Tuesday with Covenant and then play North Greenville at 6 p.m. The men finish pool play at 12 p.m. on Wednesday with Palm Beach Atlantic.
The top two teams from each pool will advance to the semifinals at 6 p.m. on Wednesday with the championship being contested at 12 p.m. on Thursday.
