MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University women's tennis earned some postseason recognition this week following the NAIA and NCCAA National Championships in Mobile, Alabama.

Lisa Massey was named NAIA Region III Player to watch and was also named NCCAA All-American First Team in singles and doubles.

Assistant coach Bill Beekman was honored as NAIA Region III Assistant Coach of the Year.

Joining Massey with NCCAA All-American First Team honors were Andrea Meyering in singles and Eva Delk in singles and doubles.

Lauren Wilson and Meyering were also tabbed NCCAA All-American Second Team. Meyering earned the recognition in doubles and Wilson received the award in singles and doubles.

Massey, Courtney Kooyers and Caitlin McGuire earned acknowledgement for their work in the classroom. All three were named NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athletes.

The Wildcats finished the season 21-4 with a Mid-Central College Conference championship and a berth to the NAIA National Championship.
