MARION, Ind. -- The NAIA honored 41 student-athletes this weekend and Indiana Wesleyan University men's tennis junior Matt Pedersen was among them.

Pedersen was selected NAIA All-American Honorable Mention for his contributions to the Indiana Wesleyan men's tennis team this season.

The Indianapolis, Indiana native was instrumental in guiding the Wildcats to its second consecutive Mid-Central College Conference championship this season and second straight NAIA National Championship appearance. Pedersen played No. 1-singles and No. 2-doubles for the Wildcats.

Indiana Wesleyan finished 14-8 on the season and advanced to the NAIA National Championship for the fourth time in program history.
