MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University will be well represented over the next three days as the host of the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on May 27-29 at the Outdoor Sports Complex.

Indiana Wesleyan is in its first year of hosting the national championship that has brought in just under 2,000 student-athletes into Marion.

The Wildcat men will have 10 competitors on the roster in six different events while the Wildcat women have 14 student-athletes on the roster in 12 events.

The national championship opens up at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 27 with the beginning of the Men's Decathlon and the Women's Hammer finals. The final event of the weekend is the Men's 4 x 400-Meter Relay at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, May 29.
