MARION, Ind. -- Cody Jones has committed to play baseball next season at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Jones is a senior left handed pitcher and outfield at Blackford High School.

"I am very excited Cody has chosen Indiana Wesleyan," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Chad Newhard."He has tremendous upside as a baseball player and has done extremely well in the classroom. I look forward to seeing Cody continue to excel as a student and as an athlete here at IWU."

Jones is a member of the National Honor Society, was a Lilly award winner and is planning on majoring in Secondary Education while attending Indiana Wesleyan.
