MARION, Ind. -- Infielder Jacob Murphy of Hudsonville (Mich.) High School has committed to play at Indiana Wesleyan University this fall.

Murphy was named to the All-Conference and All-District teams this spring.

"We are excited Jacob has chosen to attend IWU this fall," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Chad Newhard."He has played at a high level in both high school and with his summer team. He is going to provide athleticism and versatility to our team."

Jacob's Hudsonville high school team finished 27-6 this season and was ranked as high as fourth in the Division I poll this year.
