MARION, Ind. -- Kendra Smith from Hagerstown, Maryland recently signed a letter of intent to play for the Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcats and pursue an undergraduate degree.
Playing wing midfield and in the back for North Hagerstown High School, the team advanced to the Final Four in 2008 and the Region Finals in 2009. She also played for the Hagerstown Freedom Club.
Academics are also a priority as she was a member of the National Honor Society and was a recipient of other academic honors.
"Kendra has tremendous speed as evidenced by her prowess in track as a hurdler," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Dr. John Bratcher. "Her Christian maturity and academic success makes her a great fit for our squad."
