MARION, Ind. -- Right handed pitcher and infielder Nate Coon from Lexington Christian Academy (Ky.) has committed to play at Indiana Wesleyan University this coming season.

Coon was named to the 2010 All-District Tournament Team, and the 2009 and 2010 All-Region Tournament Teams. He was also a 2008 and 2009 All-State Academic Honorable Mention.

"Nate has had a lot of team success at the high school level and I feel that this success is going to benefit the IWU baseball program," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Chad Newhard. "Nate has also been a solid student and is a man of tremendous character.We look forward to having Nate on campus here this fall."
