MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University will honor 40 years of women's athletics during Homecoming festivities this October.

All Indiana Wesleyan female athletic alumnae are invited to a free lunch during Homecoming on October 2, 2010. The meal will be served at the Alumni Tent near the soccer field at 11:30 a.m.

The women will then be honored on the soccer field during halftime of the women's soccer match versus Walsh (Ohio) University later that afternoon. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

Tickets are required in advance for the free meal. The tickets can be obtained through the alumni office (765-677-2110) or athletic department (765-677-2318) on the Marion campus.
