ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- The 2010 volleyball season is under way for Indiana Wesleyan University at the Red Raider Classic hosted by Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.
Indiana Wesleyan lost their first match of the weekend in four sets to University of Sioux Falls (S.D.). IWU lost the season-opening match by scores of 21-25, 17-25, 25-22 and 23-25.
The Wildcats responded with a convincing three set sweep over Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) University in the nightcap. IWU won by scores of 25-21, 25-13 and 25-17. The Wildcats are now 1-1 on the season.
Indiana Wesleyan completes the Red Raider Classic on Saturday with matches against Dordt (Iowa) College at 10 a.m. ET and Morningside (Iowa) College at 4 p.m. ET. Match highlights from Friday will be posted when received.
