MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University women's soccer continued their winning ways as they blanked Manchester (Ind.) College 6-0 on Tuesday night at Wildcat Field.

Senior midfielder Brittany Smith paced the Wildcat attack with a hat trick, scoring goals in the 28th,, 50th and 71st minutes, with assists credited to senior midfielder Brittany Horswell and senior forward Megan Marshall.

Reigning NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, Megan Marshall added to her scoring tally with two goals in the 9th and 65th minutes of play, while sophomore forward Kelsey Johnston broke onto the score sheet with a goal in the 67th minute of the match.

The IWU defense controlled the Wildcats' side of the field allowing only one shot on goal. Indiana Wesleyan outshot Manchester 33-3 on the game.

Sophomore goalkeepers Beth Ann Nowak and Jamie Speidel combined for the team's second consecutive shutout.

Indiana Wesleyan improves to 4-0-0 on the season while Manchester, a NCAA Division III program, falls to 1-2-0 on the year.

The Wildcats will travel to Cleveland, Tennessee on September 16th to take on No. 3-ranked Lee (Tenn.) University at 7:30 p.m. as a part of the Kick Cancer Classic.
