MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team overwhelmed Grace (Ind.) College 3-0 in the first round of the Mid-Central College Conference Tournament on Tuesday night in Luckey Arena.
The Wildcats coasted to a 30-15, 30-21, 30-22 victory to advance to the MCC Tournament semifinals. IWU will host the winner of the Bethel (Ind.) College and Marian (Ind.) College match at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 8.
Junior Rebekah Reichard earned 21 kills and three aces to lead the team. Freshman Kelley Morris added 26 digs while senior Christy Beam contributed 25 assists. Beam, junior Jill McMillan and junior Erin Morris all added two blocks in the win.
The second-seeded Wildcats improve to 30-7 this season as the Lancers end theirs with a mark of 12-15.
Indiana Wesleyan returns to action as the Wildcats host the MCC Tournament semifinals at 7 p.m. on Thursday night.
