MARION, Ind. -- Four Indiana Wesleyan University women’s soccer student-athletes have been named to the NAIA All-Region VIII team.
 

Senior Gretchen Breckner and three sophomores, Carly Comerouski, Clair Comerouski and Sarah Horsch, all receive the honors following a season in which the Wildcats went 21-2-1.

 
Breckner, a midfielder, tallied three goals and two assists on the season. She also helped solidify the IWU defense which allowed only 18 goals all season.
 
Forward Carly Comerouski totaled 19 goals while assisting on 10 others. Her 19 goals, 10 assists and 48 points led Indiana Wesleyan.
 
Midfielder Claire Comerouski ended the season with 17 goals and eight assists. She finished the season strong as she delivered four goals in three matches at the NCCAA National Championships.
 

Defender Sarah Horsch led the Wildcat defense this season as the unit permitted only 64 shots on goal in just 24 matches. Horsch also contributed two goals and three assists.
