GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball season is off to a fine start with two wins at the Great Falls/Carroll Tournament in Great Falls, Montana.
The No. 21-ranked Wildcats defeated Montana State-Northern 3-1 and concluded the day with another 3-1 victory over co-host University of Great Falls (Mont.). IWU won 25-20, 25-15, 24-26, 25-20 versus MSUN and then pulled out a 25-14, 19-25, 25-13, 25-23 in the nightcap.
The 2-0 start to the season is the first for Indiana Wesleyan since 2007 when the team won the first seven games of the season.
Indiana Wesleyan competes on Saturday at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. IWU faces co-host Carroll at 1 p.m. ET and Montana Tech at 5 p.m. ET.
