SPRING ARBOR, Mich. (Box Score) -- The wins continue to roll in for the Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team. IWU faced little resistance from host Spring Arbor (Mich.) University tonight in a 3-0 win in Spring Arbor, Michigan.

The Wildcats (11-3) won their fifth straight match by scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-13. The victory is the eighth in nine matches for IWU and their fifth consecutive Mid-Central College Conference win (5-1 overall).

Senior middle hitter Peyton Thompson finished 13 attacks with kills while senior outside hitter Kate Denlinger added 11 kills and sophomore middle hitter Kristine Egebrecht contributed eight. Junior setter Yui Iwase earned 35 assists in the winning effort.

Indiana Wesleyan served five aces tonight. Junior defensive specialist Jordan Sudzina was the only Wildcat with multiple aces with two.

Senior libero, the reigning MCC Libero of the Week, had 11 digs while sophomore defensive specialist Rebecca Brandes had five. Indiana Wesleyan totaled seven team blocks to cap the impressive victory.

Indiana Wesleyan returns to Luckey Arena for their next two matches this weekend. IWU hosts University of Saint Francis (Ind.) at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 23 and then Marian (Ind.) University at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 24.
