GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Aquinas (Mich.) College pitched a 6-0 shutout of the No. 20-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University women's soccer team Saturday in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Aquinas compiled the big margin of victory on the school's homecoming weekend to improve to 8-3-0 this season while IWU drops to 5-4-0.
Jamie Tomaszewski found the back of the net four times for the Saints, including a hat trick in the first half of play. Melissa Hogan had bookend goals for Aquinas to complete the scoring. Aquinas scored four times in the first 45 minutes, including the game-winner in the sixth minute.
Indiana Wesleyan opens Mid-Central College Conference play their next time out which is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27. The home match at Wildcat Field will be against No. 7-ranked Spring Arbor (Mich.) University.
