FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball continued its strong play with a convincing 3-0 win at University of Saint Francis (Ind.) on Friday night in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Wildcats rolled to a 25-13, 25-16, 25-13 win for their 17th win in their last 18 matches.
No. 20-ranked Indiana Wesleyan improves to 23-4 this season and 12-2 in Mid-Central College Conference play. Saint Francis drops to 4-15 and 2-12 in the MCC.
Senior outside hitter Kate Denlinger led the Wildcats with 12 kills while senior middle hitter Peyton Thompson contributed 10. Junior setter Yui Iwase assisted on 38 kills and the Wildcats finished with a pair of service aces.
Defensively, senior libero Kelsey Masuda collected 21 digs and sophomore defensive specialist Rebecca Brandes added 14 digs. Indiana Wesleyan finished with three team blocks.
Indiana Wesleyan will quickly return to action tomorrow with a 3 p.m. match at Marian (Ind.) University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
