INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- No. 20-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball quickly dispatched host Marian (Ind.) University this afternoon for the program's 18th win in the last 19 matches.

Marian, who holds a strong 16-9 record this season and 10-7 in the Mid-Central College Conference, was quickly dispelled by the streaking Wildcats in three games. IWU was not threatened all afternoon in the 25-15, 25-12, 25-18 victory.

Indiana Wesleyan keeps pace behind conference leader Taylor (Ind.) University after a 3-0 week which saw the team win three conference matches, all away from Luckey Arena. IWU remains just two back in the loss column with a 13-2 MCC mark. Overall, Indiana Wesleyan is 24-4.

Senior middle hitter Peyton Thompson put up some huge numbers for Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday, despite the quick defeat of the Knights. Thompson led all players with 18 kills while earning a .464 attack percentage. Sophomore middle hitter Kristine Egebrecht was the only other player in double digits with 10 kills and a .391 kill percentage.

Junior setter Yui Iwase finished just shy of a double-double. She assisted on 43 kills and added nine digs in the win. Senior libero Kelsey Masuda earned a match-high 18 digs and Denlinger contributed nine.

Indiana Wesleyan returns to Luckey Arena for their first home match in nearly two weeks on Wednesday, October 26. IWU hosts Spring Arbor (Mich.) University at 7 p.m.
