MARION, Ind. --Indiana Wesleyan University men's tennis recently made a big splash in recruiting by signing local product Brandon Dubuque.

Dubuque is a standout out tennis player from Marion High School who has earned All-State recognition.

"Brandon is perhaps the best player ever to come out of Marion High School," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Keith Ruberg. "We are extremely excited to have Brandon as a part of our program. Brandon is an extremely talented tennis player and will be an instrumental piece in the continued success of the program."

Dubuque was selected All-State Second Team this season in addition of being named All-District, All-Conference, and earning a spot on the Senior All-Star Team. He played No. 1-singles on Giants' tennis team which won Sectionals, Regionals, and Semi-State. Dubuque led Marion to the State Finals where they lost just one game away from the championship match.

Indiana Wesleyan finished the 2011-12 season at 12-11 and advanced to the NCCAA National Championship semifinals.
