MARION, Ind. --Kylan Dubbels, a 5-9 point guard, has signed to be a member of the Indiana Wesleyan University men's basketball team beginning in the 2012-2013 season.
Dubbels, a four year standout at Northwestern High School in Kokomo, Indiana, led his squad to an 18-3 record this past season while averaging 15 points, 4.2 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per contest. He received First Team Kokomo Tribune All-Area honors for his efforts.

"He is a proven winner who brings great work ethic and character to our team. We look forward to the impact that Kylan will have on our program both on and off the court over the next four years."
Dubbels earned Second Team All-Area as a junior, averaging 15.6 points, 4.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game. He also was a two-time Kokomo Tribune All-Area Football Team selection as well.
"Kylan has worked very hard for this opportunity and is committed to making his teammates and himself as good as he can be," says Northwestern varsity coach Jim Gish. "Kylan is a great person and dedicated player moving onto a coaching staff with that same commitment. The fit is perfect for both and I am looking forward to watching Kylan at the next level."
