MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University men's basketball program will be hosting its fifth annual High School Shootout this Saturday, June 9.
Some of the top high school teams from Indiana, Ohio, and Georgia will be competing in Luckey Arena as well as at Justice and McCulloch Middle Schools in Marion. Highlighting the event is 2012 Class 4A state champion Carmel High School along with local favorites Marion, Mississinewa, and Eastbrook.
"We are so excited to host all these great programs and student athletes on our own campus," said Indiana Wesleyan head men's basketball coach Greg Tonagel. "Our goal is to provide a great opportunity for these high school teams to improve and achieve their goals. At the same time, it's a great opportunity for us to show all these student-athletes what a special place Indiana Wesleyan University truly is."
Admission for the event is $7 for adults and free for children five and under. Games will begin at 8:30 a.m. with times and gym locations will be posted in Luckey Arena.
