MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University has announced the addition of Andy Young for the 2012-13 season.

Young is a catcher from Beavercreek High School in Dayton, Ohio. He was a First Team All-GWOC selection this past season and was also named First Team All-District and All-Area. Young was chosen to play in the Mizuno All-Ohio Series in June in Chillicothe, Ohio.

"I am honored that Andy has selected IWU," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Chad Newhard. "He is a very determined and driven young man who is looking to become the very best baseball player he can be. Andy has also had team success both in high school and summer ball and has a desire to make his team better. We look forward to his arrival this fall at Indiana Wesleyan."
