MARION, Ind. -- Oak Hill High School's Jordan Hamilton will stay close to home as he will continue his baseball career at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Hamilton is a right handed pitcher who comes to Indiana Wesleyan after a decorated high school career at Oak Hill. He was a three-time All-County selection and a two-time All-CIC selection.
The incoming freshman is third all-time in career wins at Oak Hill and fifth in all-time strikeouts. Hamilton was a member of two CIC regular season championship team and he played summer ball for the Indiana Bulls and Pony Express, which are two of the most respected summer programs in the state of Indiana. He was selected for a Milwaukee Brewers underclass scout team which played in a tournament in Fort Meyers, Florida.
"I am excited about Jordan's decision to attend Indiana Wesleyan," said Wildcat head coach Chad Newhard. "He comes in playing in a good high school program led by Shane Edwards and has had great summer baseball experience. It is also a plus for us to have another Grant County athlete in our program. We are looking forward to his arrival on our campus this fall."
