The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team missed qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament by one game as the Wildcats were defeated 3-0 by Madonna (Mich.) University in the NAIA Region VIII championship match.

In the regional final, Madonna clinched a berth to the national tournament with a 3-0 win over the Wildcats. The Crusaders won by scores of 30-22, 30-25, 30-28.

Coleman contributed 16 assists and two aces in the losing effort. Reichard added 17 digs and eight kills.

Indiana Wesleyan is now 33-8 on the season as the Wildcats 12 match win streak came to an end.

The Wildcats return to action at the NCCAA National Championships on November 28-December 1 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
