ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) national volleyball tournament opened with top-seed Indiana Wesleyan University earning a 3-0 win over No. 4-seed Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) University in pool play.

IWU earned the three-game match by scores of 30-15, 30-20, 30-20.

The Wildcats will battle No. 5-seed Bryan (Tenn.) College later tonight at 7 p.m. and finish pool play at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 30 against No. 8 Northwestern (Minn.) College.

The NCCAA national tournament consists of two pools of four teams each. The top two teams in each pool will advance to the NCCAA national semifinals.

Junior Rebekah Reichard led Indiana Wesleyan with 13 kills, 13 digs and four aces in the opening contest. Junior Jill MacMillan added four blocks and junior Krystin Coleman chipped in with 20 assists.

Indiana Wesleyan improves to 34-8 this season and Southwestern Assemblies of God drops to 26-12.
