
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team earned a spot in the NCCAA national semifinals with a 3-0 win over Bryan (Tenn.) College in pool play Thursday night in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The No. 1-seeded Wildcats are now 2-0 in Pool A with one game remaining. Indiana Wesleyan will win their pool with a victory tomorrow over host Northwestern (Minn.) College.
Junior Krystin Coleman led IWU with 17 assists and three aces in the win. Junior Jill MacMillan added 11 kills and freshman Kelley Morris finished with 12 digs. Senior Elisabeth Beam earned a team-high five blocks.
Indiana Wesleyan improves to 35-8 this season following the 30-20, 30-20, 30-21 victory. Bryan drops to 23-17.
The Wildcats return to action a 1 p.m. on Friday, November 30, as Indiana Wesleyan completes pool play against No. 8-seed Northwestern. Indiana Wesleyan will compete at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 1 in the NCCAA national semifinal and with a victory will play again at 4:30 p.m. in the national championship.
