MARION, Ind. -- Senior Ethan Naylor turned an impressive performance on Saturday into the Crossroads League Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Naylor ran a time of 25 minutes five seconds on the 8,000-meter course at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His time was the fourth fastest in the massive field of 352 runners.

The Marengo, Ohio native was the top runner for Indiana Wesleyan as the team earned a fifth place spot in the 34-team field. Nine of the 10 Crossroads League teams were present at the meet and Indiana Wesleyan was the top team in the standings, as was Naylor being the first league runner across the line.

The Crossroads League honor is the first this season for Naylor and the third in his career.

Indiana Wesleyan has finished regular season competitions for 2012 and will begin postseason play next week when IWU hosts the Crossroads League Championship on Saturday, November 3.
