
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team earned a five-game victory over The Master’s (Calif.) College to claim a spot in the NCCAA national championship match.
The Wildcats earned the victory over the No. 3-seed by scores of 30-22, 28-30, 30-25, 25-30, 18-16.
The top-seeded Wildcats will play No. 2-seed Bethel (Ind.) College in the finals. Indiana Wesleyan has already beaten the Pilots three times this season.
Junior Rebecca Reichard collected 18 kills and two aces to lead IWU. Junior setters Krystin Coleman and Christy Beam each tallied 27 assists and freshman Kelley Morris added 38 digs.
Senior Elisabeth Beam recorded a team-high five blocks while freshman Taryn Cocallas had two service aces.
Indiana Wesleyan ups their record to 37-8.
The championship match will be at approximately 4 p.m.
