ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team finished the NCCAA National Championships as runner-up in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Conference rival and No. 2-seed Bethel (Ind.) College defeated the top-seeded Wildcats 30-26, 31-29, 30-26. Indiana Wesleyan had defeated Bethel in the three previous meetings this season.

Freshman Kelley Morris completed the match with 16 digs and two service aces. Junior Christy Beam had 21 digs and senior Elisabeth Beam earned 14 kills. Elisabeth Beam and senior Shannon Millen each tallied three blocks.

The Wildcats finish their season with a 37-9 record and winners of the Mid-Central College Conference regular season and tournament championships.
