MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University women's golf welcomes Maggie Kaiser to the roster beginning in the 2013-2014 season. The incoming freshman is currently a senior at Boylan Central Catholic High School in Rockford, Illinois.
Kaiser's golf highlights include a second place finish in the girls' city classic in age divisions 15 – 16 and 17 – 18. She was an Honorable Mention for the All-Conference team in 2011 and she won the third flight of the 2012 Women's City. Her all-time 18-hole low score was a 77.
"I am excited to welcome Maggie to our team," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Julie Wagner. "Maggie was a natural fit. When you look at her as a person she is engaged in her local community through volunteer work and is extremely dedicated to improving her golf game. Maggie expects to be pushed and wants her team and coach to be one that is competitive. She is driven to be the best."
Kaiser's volunteer activities include the Northern Illinois Food Bank, a volunteer instructor at Rockford Park District's LPGA girls' golf clinic, and an active member of the Curvey Girls Scoliosis support Group.
Kaiser, an Honor Roll student her entire high school career, plans to study Pre-Med and Biology at Indiana Wesleyan.
