MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University men’s tennis has added Bethany Christian High School senior Nathan Brendle to the squad for the 2013-14 school year.

Brendle was an All-State Honorable Mention and All-District selection this year as a season. He built a terrific record of 21-2 which is a record for wins in a single season by a Bethany Christian player. Brendle finished his high school career with 51 wins which is also a school record.

“Nathan is an outstanding player,” said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Keith Ruberg. “He has had a very successful high school career and I expect his career to be as successful at the next level. We are looking forward to having Nathan’s talent and leadership as part of our program.”

Indiana Wesleyan finished the season 19-8 and 7-1 in the Crossroads League. The Wildcats won the Crossroads League regular season championship which is the 16th in program history.
