
MARION, Ind. -- Senior defender Gretchen Breckner, sophomore forward Carly Comerouski and sophomore midfielder Claire Comerouski were named to the National Christian College Athletic Association women’s soccer All-American team, according to the NCCAA.
Breckner led an Indiana Wesleyan defensive unit which only allowed 16 goals all season. She also tallied three goals and two assists.
Carly Comerouski led the Wildcats with 19 goals, 10 assists and 48 points.
Claire Comerouski was tied for second on the team with 17 goals and third with eight assists and 42 points.
The awards cap a season in which Indiana Wesleyan finished 21-2-1 while capturing the NCCAA national championship. The Wildcats defeated Spring Arbor (Mich.) University 3-2 in overtime to claim the fourth NCCAA women’s soccer championship in program history.
