MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University is represented by the pair of sophomore Brandon Dubuque and junior Kyle Johnson who have been named All-Crossroads League performers for men’s tennis.
Dubuque and Johnson were cemented to the top of the Indiana Wesleyan lineup all season for a team that tied for the Crossroads League regular season championship. The duo combined to form the No. 1-doubles team while Johnson played No. 1-singles and Dubuque was No. 2-singles.
In doubles, Dubuque and Johnson were 9-5 on the season. Johnson earned a 10-4 record in the top singles position while Dubuque went 8-5 in the second spot.
Indiana Wesleyan concluded its fall season last week. IWU earned a record of 9-5 overall and 7-1 in the Crossroads League. The Wildcats tied with Grace (Ind.) and Huntington (Ind.) for first in the regular season standings and then lost to Huntington in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals.
