MARIAN, Ind. -- Spenser Lang of the Indiana Wesleyan University men’s soccer team was dubbed the Mid-Central College Conference Defensive Player of the Week, according to the conference.

Lang and the Wildcats earned a 4-0 victory over Grace (Ind.) College in the opening round of the MCC Tournament. He made one save in the match.

The 13th-ranked Wildcats are now 16-3-1 this season and have advanced to the MCC Tournament finals. Top-seed Indiana Wesleyan will host No. 3-seed Goshen (Ind.) College at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31 at the Outdoor Athletic Complex.
