Marion, Ind. -- The NAIA seventh-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University men’s soccer team pulled in three player of the week honors after defeating Marian College and the University of St. Francis last week.
Senior forward J.P. Bratcher earned National Christian College Athletic Association Player of the Week honors. Bratcher recorded one assist against Marian College in a 3-1 victory and had the game-winning goal in a 3-0 victory over the University of St. Francis.
Junior defender Ben Chleboun won the Mid-Central College Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor for his strong play in IWU’s defensive midfield. Chleboun helped lead a Wildcats’ defense that only allowed one goal last week.
Senior forward David Lopez-Cepero garnered MCC Offensive Player of the Week honors giving the Wildcats a sweep of the conference awards. Lopez-Cepero led the IWU attack with three goals last week.
