
MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University women’s soccer team has added Heidi Breckner for the 2008 season.
The Okemos, Michigan native is the sister of IWU four year starter Gretchen Breckner, who was named NCCAA All-American First Team.
Breckner helped guide Okemos High School to a Division II State Championship in 2006.
“We are excited that Heidi has chosen to study at Indiana Wesleyan and play for the Wildcats,” stated head coach Dr. John Bratcher. “She will be a great asset in our defensive efforts and will be able to help start our attack on the other end.”
Breckner also plays club for the Phoenix Soccer Group. This team travels all over America to play in tournaments.
