MARION, Ind. -- Courtney Clark is the fourth person to sign for the 2014-15 school year to continue her women’s tennis career at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Clark is from Middlebury, Indiana and attends Northridge High School. She is currently playing No. 1-doubles and has a 6-1 record. Her previous years she has played No. 3-singles and No. 1-doubles. Last year at No. 1-doubles her record was 18-4, placed second in her conference, was All-District, was a state qualifier, and was named Second Team All-State.
Clark is involved in other activities besides tennis. She is in student council, swimming, cross country, and involved with her youth group at her church. She has received the scholar-athlete award and just got athlete of the month.
“I am really excited about Courtney coming to Indiana Wesleyan,” said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Terry Porter. “She is an accomplished player, great competitor, and it doesn’t hurt that she is left-handed. The sky is the limit for Courtney over the next four years.”
Clark plans on majoring in Business at Indiana Wesleyan.
