
CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University men’s indoor track and field team finished fifth out of seven teams in their first scoring meet of the season at the Wabash College Alumni Invitational in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
The Wildcat men earned 55 team points as University of Indianapolis earned a decisive win with 147 points.
Freshman Jason Wenzel won the 800-meter run with a meet record one minute 58.54 seconds. Wenzel won the even by over three seconds.
Senior Zach Weber earned second place in the 55-meter hurdles. Weber broke the old meet record while finishing 0.1 seconds out of first. He did capture the victory in the high jump competition with a mark of 6 feet 6 inches.
